Skinny Bouclé yarn is made of 100% merino wool - naturally mulesing free. This yarn has a running length of 450m per 100g and is therefore very economical. It is ideal as a supplementary yarn if you are sensitive to mohair or alpaca yarn. The spun loops make this yarn just soft enough to snuggle up in. A light, soft yarn that is super easy to knit away. If you want to add some texture to your knitted piece, Bouclé is ideal!
How many strands do you need for what? With one strand, you can knit a small scarf or hat. With two strands you knit a medium-sized shawl and with three strands you knit a large shawl. For a sweater size 38 you need 3 strands. This yarn is perfect for texture and colourwork projects.
This is a hand dyed skein of wool, which means it is unique. If you want to knit several strands of one color, I recommend knitting two strands in alternating rows. This will give you a more even result.
